Nestled on the beautiful Isle of Barra, our sauna offers a unique experience for groups, individuals and exclusive use, where you can relax and rejuvenate. At the Wee Barra Sauna we provide a lovely barrel sauna with bracing whiskey barrel cold water plunges just a stones throw from the sea.

About The Wee Barra Sauna
Our Story
Chris and Katie have lived on Barra for 25 years where we own and run Clearwater Paddling and Dunard Hostel (the house where Katie grew up). This autumn we have installed a lovely wee sauna which we are using over the winter after bracing swims making a wonderful warming experience after the chills of the ocean

Bookings can be made for individuals, couples and small groups with a maximum of 4 people, it is a wee sauna! Sauna sessions are 55 minuets with 5 minutes at the end of the hour for cleaning and tidying up for the next guests. Minimum age is 14, and all under 18s must be accompanied by a parent
